Health Restrictions

If you have any of the conditions listed below or any other illnesses or injuries that may pose a risk to life, health, or your ability to move - we strongly recommend that you do not participate in trips involving active physical travel.

If you have any such conditions or injuries, you must inform the expedition organizer and the guide (confidentiality is guaranteed):

  1. Any illness in an acute or subacute stage.
  2. Mental disorders that significantly impair communication.
  3. Malignant tumors accompanied by pain.
  4. Cardiovascular diseases: coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction within less than 6 months before the trip, aneurysm of the heart or aorta, aneurysm of major vessels, cardiac arrhythmias (tachycardia, extrasystoles), grade 3 hypertension.
  5. Respiratory diseases: bronchial asthma, bronchiectasis grade 2–3, respiratory failure grade 2–3, tuberculosis.
  6. Liver diseases: acute hepatitis, other liver diseases with impaired function.
  7. Kidney diseases: glomerulonephritis (exacerbation), pyelonephritis (exacerbation), chronic renal failure.
  8. Diabetes.
  9. Blood disorders: severe anemia, thrombocytopenic purpura.
  10. Joint diseases: knee ankylosis, tuberculosis of bones and joints.
  11. Gastrointestinal diseases: pain syndrome, persistent nausea and vomiting, bleeding.
  12. Syphilis and other sexually transmitted diseases.
  13. Infectious diseases that threaten your health and the health of other participants.
  14. Purulent infections of any localization.
  15. Epilepsy.
  16. Prolonged high fever of unknown origin.
  17. Pregnancy (depending on condition).

People who require ongoing treatment and constant medical supervision are strictly prohibited from participating in trips with active physical activity!

Important: Before joining a long expedition, visiting a dentist is strongly recommended. Treat any dental issues in advance, as dental problems often worsen in the mountains due to mineral deficiency, limited oral hygiene, and cold water exposure.
